Default Just got the Courtesy car--Renault Megane Estate

Just took delivery of the courtsey car, tbh it is a smart car....54plate,1.6, plenty of nice touches like the xenon lights ect ect

Been looking for possible new cars aswel if the ST is written off.

I have 2 choices

1- Buy another nice family car ie...330d BMW /Audi 2.5 TDi Avant/ Mondeo ST TDCi.......Cant think of any others tbh that i like

OR

The Missus has said she would be happy with a nice 306 hdi or a BMW 323 or alike and i can do what i want with the rest of the money..........

So may sell the S1 and get an EVO

Dont know what to do tbh......

Mark - can you give me some sort of idea what the ST was like to live with as a daily drive and commute car, also the boredom factor and cost of running etc - looking at one of these little babies sometime next year if I fall out with the idea of a 530D sport

Honestly could not fault it at all........And if it doesnt get wrote off i will be happy as i loved it.

As a daily car it was fine.....took the kids to school/shopping ect perfect and VERY economecal--45mpg round town(Spelling )

Then

When you wanted to use it it was superb as it has the brilliant chassis. Was superb through the twisties and pulled like a train with 300+ ftLB torque

All in all a MEGA car....and if you dont mind it having a blue oval on the front then you get more for your money imho

Like i said...i may get another if i get paid out (And that is coming from someone who doesnt like to buy the same cars i have all ready had)

Fantastic - I don't mind a blue oval at all - it's what I've always had inbetween the odd bmw

If you do get another, I might have to arrange a test drive with yourself

I'd love that, but a nice hour in it would suit me to the ground

Now you mention it, I keep thinking about one. I would like a car I can use without worrying about it and one that I don't mind using in the rain...
