Default prob with s2 ***SORTED***

sounds like an air leak, is affecting boost, but sounds like its coming from underneath the heater box

can hear it quite loud hissin on idle as well, it cuts out as well if left for a few seconds

any ideas peeps?

could be the accumulator thing tha the fuel lines run through to get rid of air.....that hisses! or the rubber seal under the airbox, but i doubt it or what about the bottom boost hose airflow meter - turbo ?

take the airbox off tommoz then and start it up n have a closer look, spray the area with WD n see if the revs rise!

pmsfl, i thot u meant airfilter box

Ok, heater box theirs a vacuum pipe that comes off right hand side of plenum to ECU.......check that's not split cos that wuld cause it to go like a crock of shit.....

err, what else now....aah, theirs a black plasticy hose that goes into back of plenum, they usually always leak if they been off before, check that, shldnt cos any probs that 1 tho cos mine leaks a bit n is safe.

not me, had to order one of them Y piece thingy's from for dwhen installing my engine cos it were err missing lol!

The black hard plastic hose comin off the throttle bodie (pipe from rhs of pic) is off on the inlet manifold.

Well done that man for spotting it
