Jases take a photo of it from a distance I have a Black bonnet on my saph atm but thats because i need to have the whole car painted @ a later date 
But i do like the black bonnet would love a carbon one but i have to spend money in other places atm

I dont like carbon at all.
Car geeks spank one off over carbon, but to everyone else it just looks like your cars not sprayed properly yet.
And I dunno about you, but i dont give a fuck what car geeks think, but normal people, maybe.
What totally summed it up for me was the big carbon wing on my GTR, took a bird round my house one day and first thing she said when she saw the car was "why isnt the spoiler the right colour?"
If you have to EXPLAIN somethings cool, its not cool, its gay.

if you care what a bird thinks is cool on your car then you have problems

jase,i dont think its too bad but to be honest itis close to the colour of the car so does take eye away and make it look a bit iffy.
if you do decide to sell let me know.i wanted one on mine a while back to go with the stripes and lites etc,only thing i was worried about was the panel gaps and finish looking dodgey.

, but I think a set of gun metal grey wheels would set it off a bit better.

think it looks ok tbh,could always paint up to the styling line in the bonnet and just leave a carbon panel in the middle mate
at the end of the day if you like it leave it on,if not sell it as it seems a few are more than willing to buy,you know when you try something different on an rs most are going to dissaprove though,not everyone who does something a bit different to their car is a chav they are just trying to be individual

Sorry mate, I think it looks naff.
Never liked them anyway - very difficult to pull off on a car without looking absolutely ridiculous.
Just mho though. The best part of the cossie is that they dont look like the 'trying too hard' subarus and evos etc. Kinda takes a big step in the wrong direction for me.
Of course this is entirely subjective

If its just not 'shiny' enough for you mate and thats whats putting u off you know you can just get it laquered dont you?!?! just needs keying up with some scotchbrite then spraying!!
We've laquered some carbon stuff for SLRs and it comes out fine
