Gas/electric bills!!! shitty scottish power
im aving probs with them
they're saying i owe them £400 in arrears!
i only pay them £40 a month and have been doing for 2 years with no problems,
now they're saying i owe them an extra £400 , and that in the months from january to may i total up £400 extra in gas charges, thats an extra £100 a month on top of the £40 im already paying!
then i got a bill thru couple of weeks ago saying
from the 26/07 to 10/08 i have used £15 in gas & £80 in electric! WTF!!
what can i do?!?!
how can i contest them? as i dont av a clue bout their bills!

I have just kicked them out !!........
They did the same to me, wrote and said, after leaving it a year " you are
£197.00 in debt on your account ! " bear in mind i do pay it monthly anyway.
After a bit of arguing, I said take it and sod off !!!!!!

Surely no one would use that amount of electric and gas in one month!
They must have made a mistake surely!
Not unless you have a warehouse of a house or around your way they just take the piss on your charges

Ive had the same problem with scottish power, they checked my gas meter ... nothing worng yet still couldnt explain why I used 300 quids worth of gas when the fucker was turned off!

My moneys on that someone else has the same gas meter reference number as mine, and im paying for someone else.
Electric is a normal level, im only at the property 1 day/night a week!

nice to know its not just me then, need to get out of paying some how
cos i've not changed anything in the last 2 years so i dunno how 1 month i can use £100 then the next back down to £20
how can i go about sorting this?
cos you ring em n they just fob you off
