Had to rush my Wife into hospital today-UPDATE
Had to rush Haley into hospital today as she was doubled up in sheer agony holding her stomach.
Every 8 months or so she usually gets there bad pains in her stomach but this time she was in proper pain with it...
Rushed her to A&E and they shipped her straight through.....
Turns out she has got to have her appendix out ASAP
I have been there all afternoon/evening as they were going to do it straight away but couldnt as she had eaten something
First thing in the morning she is going into Theatre.
Took the kids to see her tonight but i think i shouldnt have, as all they are asking now is if there mummy will be coming home or not as they have it in there heads that if people go to hospital then they dont see them again and they go to heaven......As this was what happened to my Dad the last time they saw him.
Funny how kids remember things like that
Should be a laugh in the morning when i am trying to get them ready for school

Fucking hell Tiff! Don't know you or your Mrs personally but all the best pal.
Good job you got her straight in mate, good on you.
Nothing worse than something happening to the ones you love.

Friend of mine collapsed the same way a year ago..had it removed later that day..only left a small scar (an inch) and she was back to normal within a matter of weeks
Hope it goes well..more good luck with the kids as the wife will no doubt be fine when the appendix is out!
All the best

This is probably a blessing in disguise Tiff.
If that's your young uns' image of hospital then seeing their mum come out safe and sound will mean they won't be scared of going to hospital themselves in the future if the need ever arises (god forbid) rather than as they are now, where they would associate going into hospital with game over.
