Here's something no one else has mentioned.........Senna had prost as a team mate. Schuey has never had a top of the line team mate. No wonder he won so many races. When Ferrari sign Kimi he suddenly retires? That to me says he was too proud to face potentially being beaten by a good driver in the same machinery.
All the news seems to point to him being forced out - I wonder....

Schumacher has beaten Räikkönen time and time again and I dont think he fears anyone, infact enjoys a challenge. Being in the same team wouldn't have bothered him and Ferrari would never have passed up the chance to sign him for another season, I think he just thought it was time to call it a day. I still say Räikkönen is the now old boy racer of F1, lots of speed and courage, but no control. You need to be able to shape a team to do what Schumacher has done and have a complete understanding of what is involved and I honestly dont think Räikkönen has that ability going by his McLaren days. Maybe with Schumachers help he will. Poor mans substitute for the much loved by Ron Dennis Hakkinen IMO and will be interesting to see what happens next year

Kimi was not his team mate in the same machinery. IMO he retired because Ferarri wouldnt back down on having Kimi as his team mate and he as much as said that in the press conference. You can only know you're the best if you take on your rival in the same machinery. I recall Senna asking Prost if he wanted to swap cars when Prost complained about being beat in the Ford powered Macca - Prost soon shut up.

Sorry but no way.He is good, very good but the best ever?no.I was never into senna but looking back I would have to say he was unbelieveable.Remember donnington about 13-14 trs ago when senna went from 6th to the front in one lap when it was torrential rain? When you look how long senna was in f1 compared to schumacher and the amount of poles senna had.Senna was pure class and that comes from a mansell fan.

Hello to all FORD and COSSY enthusiasts.

Don't forget Nigel Mansell, he's my personal Hero. The Art he was driving is unforgetable and full with heartblood.
Full throttle and he is the same.

@Puddy, I love your Tina with the powerfull 500+ bhp cossy engine, very nice car.

I am in rebuilding my ybg who's in my German RUSH 7. ( BIG POWER ).

Best to all

Ronny

Damon Hill was shite, this is a guy that used to retire for scratched paint work
spit his fukkin dummy out!!!(Apart from the arrows drive)
Same happened to Schey tho with David Coulthard at spa(the one where the race was restarted after he spun like a rookie and cost millions of damage) slowed down in the pissing down rain and let off the gas right in front of him.
Which was worse than the Damon Hill incident IMO

Schuey however sheer class, true pro,a quick thinker a drivers driver and (obviously some) peoples driver
The rain master

Schueys best fights on the race track according to himself in an interview were Jean Alesi

However i've not been following F1 avidly since Schuey was winning everythin tho, gets a bit borin.

I thought f1 really changed and went borin after hakkinen left
even tho hakkinen was a bit of a sulker and didn't try if he wasn't top 3.
Schuey and Hakkinen had some great battles
remember japan when Schuey was put to the back of the grid and got to the front of the pack within a few laps(true fukkin skill and grit),and lost the title to a puncture.
Jenson Button needs charity and other rivals mechanical misfortune to win
but has had a few slight grit fuelled races

Jaques Villeneuve should fuck off and stick to his his fukkin singing career with David Coulthard, maybe hire Damo to play some leccy guitar

GET RID OF THE FUCKING PUSSYASS BLUE FLAG RULE(let me pass yer awwww go on or me boss will tell on you)
Bring back Manual shifting
take off traction control, software controlled cars, might as well call the championship FIA F1 Radio Controlled Championship IMHO
roll on 2008!!!!!!!!!!!! f1 will be a better place
let see where the little inexperienced bushy haired one time world champion gets then, probably in a fukkin barrier on more occasions than one.

Bravo schey you have been a joy to watch
great battles
he will be soarly missed by more than just me
OLD SKOOL SKILL BOYS
not ya piss pot wannabees
