ok
the twinky loom has 3 plugs behind the battery and the engine loom plugs in them iirc
the cossie loom only has one plug on the looms i have here
so on the twinky loom the 3 connectors some of the wiring is between connectors
buts its all the there for a cosy loom to plug straight into
what you need to find is the plug with all the sensors which are the same colour codes on teh cossy loom
you have on the cosy connector
green - rev counter
brown/green trace - oil light
thick red/blue trace - 12v+
black - switched ignition
brown/white trace - water temp gauge
thick black/red trace - fuel pump
now all these wires will be on one of teh connectors on the twinky loom bar the fuel pump wire which will be on a different connector
what you need to do is swap the fuel pump pin to the one not being used on the other connector, carnt remember which but you will see
the other 2 connectors on teh twinky loom are not used, but one does have teh batt light wire so you will need to make a batt loom up
not hard, just cut it out of your twinky loom and tape teh power and blue wire together and lay it back in as it should be, then just solder the blue wires up together discarding the connector
thats all you need to do and it should work
the other thing you will need to do is make afan loom up as n the twinky its in engine management and cossie its in fues box, again not hard to do as im sure tiff has a diagram on how to do it
but what i would check is the water temp gauge wire brown/white trace as theers 2 on the twinky loom so you need to find out which one is what and adjust accordingly
im in the same boat but ive done it before and i will be replacing my twinky in a months or so time to cossy yb

i could do it so it looked factory and plugged straight
new loom and fit the old plug onto it so it plugs striaght onto the old main loom.
would need a few terminals swapping around, but seeing as i have all the tools, and your only about 30 mins from me if can easily be done.
Cheers

the cossy ECU loom is completely seperate, the only thing it connects to the main loom for is 4 things.
Fuel Pump trigger (irrelevant if your running new stuff)
Ignition Live
Rev Counter Signal to dash board
Water Temp Signal to dash board.
Never done a fan loom but i cant be hard.
Also regards fuel pump wiring thats WAAAAAAAAY overated stuff, but yes you can use it if you want.

ok
one its not a bodge as you will be still using the connectors
cosy fan loom and alternator loom are seperate to engine loom, so its 1 wire you have to solder for the batt light the blue one
then its just swapping 1 pin over from a different connector on the twinky main loom to another connector on the main loom wher all the sensor wires ares, the twinky engine loom wil be completely removed
so you have to make a fan loom up, easy and can be doen neat out the way,
the batt loom 2 wires which will go in teh original place its supose to go just not taped up with the engine loom as before, but you can tape it up in the engine loom and use the connector off the twinky engine loom and with the batt light wire on so it connects as it should, but will be easier to solder it
you will not be using any of the twinky engine loom what so ever
alls you will use is the main car loom, sod changing the whole car loom for 1 pin
heres a pic of teh conectors of a 4wd engine loom
these 3 connectors go across and mount up on teh bulkhaead , the injector loom connects to them so you dont need to touch this
and this is teh connector that will just plug up into the twinky loom and run providing you have swapped the fuel pump pin into the correct connector
its so simple to do, no bodging what so ever
