Default HIDDEN MODS ON MY FOCUS

Found out today that FORD programmed mods into the cars E.C.U.and you can unlock these with a series of coded demands.Tried this one today

1.TURN KEY TO POSITION II

2.LOCK THE CAR MANUALY FROM INSIDE,3 TIMES

3.TURN KEY TO POSITION I

4.LOCK THE CAR MANUALY FROM INDIDE,3 TIMES

5.TURN KEY TO POSITION II

6.HERE A BEEP

7.THEN LOCK THE CAR MANUALY FROM INSIDE ONCE.

I now have ANTI HIGHJACK PROTECTION.When i start the car and drive away, the car locks all door AUTOMATICLY.

I was told it only works on FOCUS MK2 RS & ST170,but mines a 1.8 GHIA(O2 PLATE)

Does any one know of any more mods.If FORD unlocked these at the factory, they couldv,e charged more for them as OPTIONAL EXTRAS.

All facelift focus have the auto lock feature, it's just never active out of the factory.

Your's being a ghia should also have global closing which closes the windows for you.

Just open your windows, then shut the doors and go to lock it, keep hold of lock and the windows should close them selves afaik

They did a thing with the little digital display on the dash too.
if you held the botton and did something

the little display on the dash turns into a SECS monitor type thing too.
lol

my friend showed me on his mk1 focus once.!

Isn't the auto lock a one time only, you have to reprogram after each time you leave the car?

I haven't tried it, just seen lots of posts about it.
