Chip,

I see my thoughts are beyond even your respected interlect on this issue

The point is , if you read my comments, I said I could see that I reached
a different concluson (not using those exact words).
The graph is missleading but its not immediately obvious and I was
just trying and failing to explain the alternative.

By association, it would seem you are a c*nt aswell as you came to the
same conclusion initially.

Im not chucking anything mate, i havent fallen out with SECS or ForeignRS, they are both mates of mine! (in real life too not just on here)

I personally feel Simon took things personally when he didnt need to (probably because he feels nick has it in for him, but thats daft as ick certainly doesnt have it in for me and i shared simon's mistake reading the graph) in this thread, but its clear that im not going to get him to see that too, so i will stop commenting on it now.

First off - lovely car.

Simon - i really think you should take a epspecially as you are an engineer. There is NOTHING wrong with the graph. Each scale is clearly labelled, and all the information is easily readable. Lots and lots of graphs have multiple scales - i probably drew about 10 today alone lol.

I for one respect you as a very talented guy - but we all make fuck ups - like me suggesting a knock sensor needs a 5v supply on the RST ECU thread....

My argument was that the graph was missleading thats my point.
I wasnt the only person to see it and all the people that did notice
the supossedly wrong interpretation are by no means stupid.

Dont understand why others cant see what I am getting at .......

SECS

the graph really is not misleading in the slightest. it is a very straightforward graph with 2 Y-axes that is common practice. for you to not be able to read it properly, even after it has been clarified, suggests a mental defficiency there somewhere considering that you are supposed to be an engineer.

i don't know what you think that you can see in there that nobody else can - dead people? you really are special

i am taking all of this in good humour. i have no other motivation to write anything against SECS. paranoia must be a terrible thing to have to live with

foreigneRS,

I would hardly say calling me a thick c*nt is good humour.

As on page 1 of this thread....

Perhaps you should read my post above yours above again as to clarify
for you, I said there that I agreed with what was said even if it took
me a bit of time to see but the graph isnt obvious immediatley to
everyone. Deosnt make me thick/stupid no matter how much you want
me to be.

I hate to drive them because of the way the steering wheel sits as standard. It feels horrible for someone my size (6ft2) and the pedals are too close together. even though I only have size 10 feet.

Which is a shame as I love minis and want a vtec one.

What a thread!!

I've been sorting out fuel lines and other bits this afternoon and its gone mad!

firstly chip you need a only the trubo head (still 12g940 ) has sodium cooled exh valves.

Secondly its still turboed! Just now with a totally different engine!!

The main differences are:

255 cam
1.5:1 roller rocker
different head (but similar spec)
lower CR (7.5:1) I think
stronger drivetrain
mapped ignition

Oh, just realised you are being a pedantic twat cause i referred to them as "mg heads" when obviously the n/a and turbo head castings are the same but the valves are different, very droll.........

IM not a fan of bike engines in a road car. Think they are overly tiresome.

KAD stuff is sorted now

Been using them for a long time now!

vented 8.4" for 13s or 7.9" for 10s and 4 pots and they never get mintex 1144s hot enough to wear out!

I used mintex 1144 in a 7.9" 4pot KAD setup on my track mini and it was awesome, never had any fade at all.

its a whole 4 gears
the steering wheel is huge, about 3 foot to far away and almost horizontal like buses have
the pedals are quite close together and you kinda stand on them, not push them forwards
with the seat right back you knees touch your ears (im only 6 foot too)
the rev counter doesnt work
