Default data logging devices

does anyone know of any external type of data logging device that can monitor what the ecu see's and obv records it under live conditions ? ecluding the pectel monitors as 99% of the data log functions on the monitors dont seam to work anyway

i dont want to be changing ecu ( from P8), i need to be able to record at a decent rate for a good hour or so, i need to monitor egt, afr, cts, cat, tps, map, rpm, inj duty, as a bare minimum really.

regards

there are plenty of devices around, but they won't speak to the ECU, just work independantly taking inputs from the sensors.

I use innovate stuff to log all the things you mention and more.

depends on your budget really.

i would just use an old laptop running the RP Labs Monitor software from Stu, and then a USB A/D converter for the other things like EGT
