Default Saab 9-3 Question

Anyone know anything about Saab 9-3 2.0 Turbos? Im thinking about replacing my tired old Focus with a fully loaded one but dont know much about them apart from what ive read on Parkers.

Im sure i read somewhere that they are using the same floorpan ect as the Subaru

i know a little bit about them, my mate used to be a saab technician. pretty good cars, bit of poke to them. i was thinking about buying a 9000 2.3 carlsson at one point, but sense got hold of me lol

There not too bad a car actually the early ones suffered some sort of sly recall as they had an engine problem but as far as i remembered everything got fixed on every car (when i worked for saab 6-7 years ago was when it happened) the one to have as far as the 93 goes is the VIGGEN but for complete stealth mode look at a 95 aero as they drive very very well and are very rapid for what they are... Also have a look for abbott?? racing as they do plenty of mods for them

Its an 03 plate Vector that im looking at.
To be honest fella i left too soon to know much about the vector but i do know that it was prob built using a gm (vauxhall) chassis then mate,, have a look for a saab forum and fire some q's off you'll prob find out bundles

Im sure its got the Z20NET engine which is in the vectra c.

Its putting out about 175 bhp.

iirc saab uses cavalier v6 brakes ,shocking all that money from new and uses shitty cavvy brakes from early 90s
