Im sure greenlight do track cover

That £100 a day was with a company that will cover you just for that day, hence the price. But Greenlight do is as an add-on to the policy

it is not the money Lee it is more a case of how much does one really want to go on the track if you see what i am saying........ once it is put into context

Ok Lee for you i shall explain,

I do not think £100 is alot if i were to right my car of i would think it was an absolute bargin, my point is i would like to do a certain number of days for example 3 my current policy does not cover me for track days and never will with A-Plan, so i figure by the time i have paid for the extra insurance all the fuel and probably i would assume a set of tyres or the better part of a set and brakes the cost would mount up, not to a level that i can not afford but if i wait 2 months when my policy is up for renewal then i will look to insure myself with somebody that does cover me or offers the option,

It might sound like a what you think but it is not the case i have more then enough money to pay for it it is just justifing it to myself what with being in the middle of house shopping and other things. And i think for the sake of waiting 2/3 months it wont be an issue i will have brought a house the car will be as i want it hopefully and i will be in the Caribbean not able to use it

I guess you could say it is a question of weather or not i want to pay for the whole experience at the moment...... Probably sounds Irish but so be it

Read it three times mate... still not clear sorry.

I will say this though, life is short. Enjoy it. You have a good car and if you can afford to take it on track then you are mad not to.

Live for the moment!

Property much more important than cars though but I don't see how a few hundred quid is going to affect a house purchase.

Evos are lovely on track!

If your looking for normal road cover that will cover you for any trackday without any clauses keep on dreaming

Take out a normal policy then top it up each time you need it.

I was with HIC last year on my focus and they covered me for 'non competitive track days' basically anything run by any of the usual suspects when it comes to trackdays, BookaTrack etc.

I dont know whether they are still offering this service, but it may be worth a try

My cossie is with HIC and I get track insurance included.

The Evo is with Pace Ward the official MLR insurer and track isn't included, but it only costs £60 to add a day's track on to the insurance.
