With lights on it should not drop below 12v. Have you tried volt dropping between the battery and alternator live?

the stereo will take a lot of the voltage away as the alternator isnt designed to supply that muc for all the gear lol


whats it without the stereo on and all lights etc

mine read 11.9v sumtimes less but dont have any problems

proberbly worth investing having a new alternator that way if it goes wrong its under gurantee lol

Jake, 11.6v is too low. I had a voltage prob on my car for a long time, I even bought a brand new battery and alternator and I still got a reading below 12v.

Finally Martin Hadland found the problem and sorted it out for me and mine now reads a healthy 13.6v

what was the problem,im havin trouble with mine and have put a battery and alternator of my mates car which i know worked,ive ordered a 90 amp alternator and a new battery again
