I need to remove my gearknob from my 4x4 saph cossie now i think its a push on one but the gearknob has broken away from the inside and all thats left is a plastic bit thats attached to the gearstick........whats the best way of removing this ive tried pulling using my hands but to no avail??, should i use mole grips etc??, are they all defo pul off?? cheers.........btw u can buy genuine ford gearknobs for £8.00 +vat (£9.40 )

defo pull off, same happenned to mine!

I just used a pair of 'snips' and cut the pastic until it fell apart.
