Default Clutch Help Please - Again.

I have an AP 6 paddle clutch kit with lightweight cover - the biting point is quite high now and when i floor the car on full boost 30psi it is slipping. Do i need a new clutch or just a cover plate or summat , soz i'm not all that technical.

Its OK on progressive acceleration, under full boost though it's like over revving, i aint noticed it too much before because of the rain though.

Might be over tensioned on the cable if your lucky but most likely to be a worn plate.

The clutch was brand new in February, but i was stuck in a traffic jam on a steep hill in the Lakes last week on a warm day too, i could smell it burning, since then it's been a slight problem, just conscious i'm off to Germany in 2weeks tho and want it repaired or replaced. Can't i just get a new cover plate or at least get it checked - dooing my head in

So I take it from that statement that your handbrake's no good either?!

What do they say now......use your handbrake instead of trying to hold a car on the clutch on hills ........ and it goes about 50k further!
