Default bluefin for my focus TDCI- A few questions!

im getting no responce in the focus section so ill ask you helpfull lot here!

right back from my holiday with a little cash to spare, i have been greatly considering getting bluefin for my focus tdci. but i want to ask a few questions.

what exatly does it do to the ecu?

has anyone expierienced any problems with the kit leading to major faults with the cars running?

will power increase be vastly noticeable or is it £500 down the drain?

and the cheapest place to find the bluefin kit??

regards

rob.

I have a Bluefin on my Mondeo ST TDCi and it is awesome

Changed the car alot, as it drives much better now and revs more freely, therefore saving gearchanges

It is not so much the power you will notice but the Torque will be unbeleiveable

Best place to get one from is Rob off here, He owns SCC Performance and he is a Superchips/Bluefin dealer and a fucking top bloke too (Im sure he will see this and reply anyway)

They have been known to crash during a download.
(posted on here a few times by other users)

In this circumstance, your car WILL have to be towed to a FORD dealer
for an ecu reprogram which if your car is under waranty, will void it.

In the cases I have seen, the makers wont/cant help you !
(Although I may be wrong)

As for power figures/buying one, I suggest calling ROB @ SCC

sounds great to me.

the torque is excellent on the car anyway, what about your 0-60 time, has this changed a lot?

trying to think of other tuning options for the tdci?
