right i have had this killier toothache on and off for a couple months, i been taking strong tablets to take the pain away etc but tonight its back and its FCUKIN sore , real sore, took 6 tablets and filled my mouth with clove oil etc but the serious pain is till there , ive been trying to get to sleep for 3 hours now but no joy, i need to do sumit about it, its agony

this may sound stupid but if i goto A&E will they be able to do sumit with it ?

 

yes mate they can either remove the tooth or give you something for the pain until you can see a dentist

sounds like they are infected, really should have been to get them sorted.

At best A+E will give you painkillers and/or antibiotics

 

i have took 6 x 500mg in the last hour n half , done fook all

 

If thats painkllers you have over done it and if its antibiotics a good loading dose is a good idea (1000mg of say Amoxycillin) but antibiotics take 36 hours to start really working and you have taken too many

 

just phoned the dental helpline , off to 24 hour supermarket , back soon see how i go

Sounds like the infection in it is coming to a head. That's what happened to mine - kept putting off going to the dentist and getting by on painkillers til one night nothing worked and I seriously thought I was going out of my mind because of the pain.

Next morning there was a little sac on the side of the gum next to the tooth - I popped it with a needle to drain it - more or less instant relief.

paramol pain killers are what you want,you have to ask for them at the chemist but there wicked on tooth pain
also while your there get yourself some ambersol(think thats what its called) dab it on ya finger and put loads round ya tooth and you will have instant relief

another way to help stop the infection is wash salt water round your mouth,might make ya sick at first but it does help

 

just been advised to take 2 nurofen in a wee bit and that should take the pain away until i can get it sorted in the morning

 

nurofen are pants get some paramol down ya
