Picked up my new drive-shafts last night at 9.30pm at junction 10 on the M40 from a dodgy looking guy driving a left hooker BMW. 
These new shafts im sure will be strong enough, but the prop will now be strengthened (again) & fitted with a safety loop/cage as a breakage could be fatal.
Have now reached a point where safety is the big issue, with the ammount of Power/Torque available.

Testing the future
nice one rod. 
i had a propshaft break on me in a mk1 escort once doing slightly more than the ton on the basingstoke ring road.
luckily the engine stalled quickly (due to lightened flywheel i reckon) and it only managed to smash into the floor a couple of times. also luckily where it hit the floor was on the brackets where the handbrake cable was mounted so was quite strong there.

No problem Rod, glad we got you sorted. As we said the current prop we did for you is up to the job, but for safety's sake and the fact that the upgrade isn't going to cost the earth it is deffo worth doing.
Brom has the prop cage sorted in his head, so as soon as we have the prop done we'll get you caged up!!

P.S. Mark if you let me know how much your carbon props are, I can charge Rod accordingly as I wouldn't like him to think he is being left out.

Cant wait to see it Ive built it cos thats what i wanted to do. Its got just about everything on it , but its a road car. Im not interested in driving round in circles so i wont take it on the track. Want to set new figures for accleration for a rwd Cossie & hopefully a Topspeed that all will remember
