Default Cat D. Racing Puma - Whats it worth

I've been looking for a Ford Racing Puma For a While and have been offered one which is Cat D.

It has 36k 2 owners and needs a bit of work - What would you guess say its worth??

he said he wants Ł5k but i can get a 50k one for Ł6500 in good condition

Remember Racing Puma parts are expensive and not easy to get hold of, make sure it doesn't need anything else, brakes and exhaust are common areas that need money, even the manifolds fail.

I do miss my old one, FRP 190, had it for 3 years from new.

Why would it need wheel bearings after 36k?

sounds like it's had a very hard if short life!

The extra track, grip and wheel spacers work the wheel bearings much harder.

yeah they are expensive to repair but a pain to get bits exp bodypanels

parts aint a issue tp get hold of, if ya have problems then pm me and ill get you the finis numbers for all the parts, there all available from fords

be warned that body parts are fooking pricey, think the wings are either 500 or 900 each,,,,, and the rear quarters the same

when im back in the office ( in 3 fucking weeks belive it or not) i can prb mail you the full price list of all the parts and finis codes

they are nice cars though,,,, and most ford front counter people dont deal with em enough to care but the parts are available on either 24 hour vor or refered back order from germany at a week for the parts


you need anything just pm me

oh and yes i do work at ford

went i went to ford and asked about a handbrake cable, they gave me a phone number to ring, and said we dont dal with FRP parts what so ever

there talking bollox, i gpot a email from ford themselves with a price list explaing they are having complaints just like you have said


as said before you need any parts then pm me and aslong as im in my office i can sort out the finis codes ect

if not im sure doo or alexzvhcabrio will look after ya as there proper ford staff,,,,,,,, not just a van boy like me

i worked at ford and we hade a racing puma with no front or rear took 8 months to get panels

No way id give him 5k for it, 4.5k tops, remember you've gotta sell it afterwards especially if there's a mint one for 6.5k
