right i had this before i did a bit of welding to day with out a mask and got a cople well maby 5/6 big seeins of it , i cant remeber what i had before but was told it will take 6/8 hrs before u will acculy get bad eyes ? or is it only when u sleep they will come out ? mine happend when i was sleep last time now im crapin it as my eyes hurt i did the welding bout 2pm yesterday 17/08/06 any help welcomed

put a damp wrap like a towel of flannel over your eyes at bed time ..

some people say cold tea bags ...i say where the goggles or helmet in the first place...

i used to do arc and mig welding ...in the hot weather i forgot to roll down my overalls arms...the burn is not nice to say the least

it was a fact it HAD to be done and i only had wat was avlable to me i have 2 maskes but not that was with me at the time i didnt even have my own welder with me

ive had it my eyes were fucked for the weekend, it happened friday afternoon by fri evning my eyes were itchy and bright lights made strange patterns went to bed, next day couldnt open my eyes bright light hurt and keeping em closed hurt to, got eye drops for the swelling and lay in the dark for the weekend with a damp cloth!

the cock soakers eyes where fooked for about 5 days red raw ..lucky really he could have burnt his retinas out .....

my dad never worries but when my eye swelled up cos of a contact lense went mad and staright to A n E i went!!!!

was given 2 types of drops and some cream and had to use them for 2 weeks!!!!

and my eye wasnt as bad as this sounds!!!!

Personally I wouldn't have done the job without a mask no matter how desperate it was.

if it hurts like a bitch get to A&E they have some great grear to fix it, they see it all the time.
