have you ever thought that you shuold actualy...
loose your licence within 15 minutes of driving, might even be less.
Think about it, i got flashed by a 30 camera doing 36, didn't get points coz i done a speed awareness course but had i not done the course i would have got three points!!!!
Your allowed 12 points and then bye bye, so how many of us go six or so miles over the speed limit more then four times in one journey??? if the answer is "i do" then the law of the land says your not fit enough to drive. What a fucked up system for the drivng law.

It's not about money though is it
Why do you think the powers that be want these black boxes for road pricing. So they know where you are and how fast you are going. This country makes me pig fucking sick
The robbing cunts in power bully and harrass the motorist but won't deal with piky's or extremists for fear of backlash. How about we as motorists backlash and tell them where they can shove it. An operational camera costs about £40k if we all twat just one it should get the message across.
It's highway robbery nothing more no matter what the do gooders bleat.

Where is it that you ride your GSXR then?
Those wankers are too fucking fat and too fucking dumb to catch real criminals, rapists, pedos, thieving scum. why dont they wait in bushes to catch rapists.
They put all that money in ways to catch the honest man and women providing for their family on their way back from work doing six miles over the limit. Come on thats fucking thick. pedos get more rights then drivers.
They rehome pedo scum next to primary schools and think its fine to give you three points and a £60 fine for six miles and eventually take your driving privilages away. if anyone thinks thats just then your probably a pedo yourself.
Another thing, if its called the congestion charge, why are they going to start taking more money of the 4x4 off road type motors, cant see how much more room it could take up, my drive way holds two cars be it Two minis or two Range rovers. Even talking about charging Bikers. WTF.
They want people to start using public transport but then keep putting the prices up and the standards down. Who the fuck wants to sit on the bus with inbread, villiage idiot happy slappers?

sounds like you just want to have a rant about society in general mate
We cant change the fact thatb 6mph over the limit gains us 3 points so its pretty much like it or lump it! It may suck yes but we also have the option as to how fast we drive so you can decide whether you end up with points or not
We all take a chance everytime we drive i guess
Don't know what my bike has to do with this
BTW fair play getting off the points by doing the course! Did it hurt sitting there biting your lip and bullshitting about how you learned your lesson?

A better point would be that a survey commissioned by the Government to help justify the focus on speed actually found that speed is not a major contributary factor in road accidents. Alternatively, one could ask why it is important for them to hide cameras in places where they want you to slow down. No one wants points and a fine, if you really wanted to slow people down in certain areas, put a camera there with a big fuckoff neon sign, rather than going through a court process to have the right to hide them.

How the fuck should I know? Seems odd that a perception of being 'soft on crime' and a doubling of the amount of people jailed go hand in hand though. I couldnt much care, it was just an aside, figured I'd add a little bit of actual evidence to the discussion. Love the Escort, by the bye.

About the course when every one was asked their excuse why they were doing six miles over they came up with shit like "i thought id be O.K doing a few over" and bullshit like that, i told them straight that i was coming out of a national speed limit and thought it would be 40 at the end coz it wasn't built up or any thing but when i realised it was 30 it was too late.
They actualy tell you that a lot of intentions of the law on motorists are for revenue. They also bring up the point that if they want you to slow down in certain areas, why hide the camera and not even put camera enforcement sign posts!!!!
I was saying about your bike coz i've riden a few bikes and have to say it is very uncomfortablre riding them slow and you have to give it some

Were you referring to this about the no conviction thing?
What a fucking awful idea. Lets not bother with due process, or any pretence at freedom, if a copper says so then you are fucked.

Police want new powers of "instant justice" to combat anti-social behaviour, according to reports. The Association of Chief Police Officers (Apco) is considering pressing ministers to dispense punishment without the need for a court appearance. Among the proposals are the immediate exclusion of teenagers from town centres at night and to ban streets gang members from associating with each other. According to The Guardian, Surrey's Assistant Chief Constable Mark Rowley has drawn up plans that he said could prove the modern equivalent of the "mythical clip around the ear from the local bobby".

six miles an hour in a country road at 2am isn't a crime thats justified with points, if i did run someone over where it happened, trust me they deserved it.
not doing things by the half, if i wanted to speed i would have done it properly, trust me.

I lived at my last address for 23 years, and in that time the speed limit changed....... NEVER, it was a 30mph limit for all of the years I lived there. Ok, so a copper hiding in a hedge is a little unfair, but speed limits aren't a new invention, just remain as eagle eyed as you can and drive to the limit. Sounds boring I know, but I have a clean licence AND get my kicks. On track days. Or on a MX bike. etc etc... Thats why I flogged my old cossie and now have a snotty XR2, its still possible I could lose my licence but I have no real ambition to demonstrate how fast my car is anymore, so I dont drive fast.
Steve.

the limit is the limit stick to it
if your child was running around outside and cars driving fast
past them or one got knocked down you would be the first to
do something about it or kick up a big fuss.
women piss me of mum's allways going on about peaple speeding
and put there children in danger but how many of you have been
behind a car with a female driving and thay do 40 or 45 in a 30 mph
zone with kids in the car
at the end of the day what the hell are track days for
on a open road early hours of the morning fine but not in a well built
up area or in busy traffic
