Should really pull my finger out & finish thin engine
anyway, i think the missis has put my long stud instructions is a safe place......
therefore i just need to check which way round the stud go's & the torque,
one end of the stud is thicker, is this the end that go's into the block? also i take it the o ring sits in the groove in the centre of the stud? Sorry for my ignorance but its the first time i've used long studs

yes the o ring goes in the groove of the stud
this is due to when the block is machined for long studs they go through the water jacket of the bores i was told
also arnt the threads different each end so will only go one way
could be wrong though
