The IB5 has much more meat on the casing and round bearings (good for large bearing modifications) as the BC and some of the gears are wider if I remember. What's your problem area or do you want to keep it general?

christian shot peen and polish will do the job
bernie stage two + cant see a cvh every producing enough torque to ever Strain the gerabox, and no one has broken one to date, and it coped with sunnys 450bhp quite well... 
this is the gearbox i am running since breaking the teeth on the stage two..
