Default 4x4 Cos Oil modine filter arm question

I've fitted this in order as shown above but the hole on the arm (9)doesn't locate to the one on the engine mount arm. If I undo the nut (10) it will loosen up enough to locate the engine mount hole and I can screw in the holding bolt, then do up (10) again.. just wondered if this was a common problem or whether I'm doing something wrong as the last thing I want to do is fit this all up and it pisses out oil from the seal (12)

Paul I have recently done the same with mine renewed all the seals etc you should be ok if you loosen (10) so you can move (9) to locate the fixing bolt into the engine mount just slacken dont release all the way or the seal (12) may pop out .

Hope that helps

Regards Doug .

Yes Loader they are the same !

Paul As long as the seal behind (1) has not splayed out past the groove it will be fine mate .

Has the engine mount bolt been fitted since you've had the car ? There are different thicknesses of modine available, so if the bolt is well out, it may be that the modine fitted to the engine isn't the right one.

When you say modine do mean the arm or the cooler?

Problem solved the Saph 4x4 modine cooler is wider then the Escos, so put the old cooler on and it fit perfect
