Default Alternative rocker cover gaskets?

The Ford ones imo are shite so can i use RTV sealant instead?

Obviously it will work but will it mean i cant ever get the rocker off again? Anyone else do that?

Phil
The cometic cam cover gaskets are good and can be re-used time and time again

Metal & Foam

For the sake of an extra 3 or 4 quid people are mad to buy a wanky ford one

Bought 2 ford ones in the last few months because I was caught out and had no choice.

Cometic on there now and never plan on buying another

Disagree.
If the mating face is clean n care is taken i've found the gasket will go again with no leaks.
