had a ding at the front its sorted, but looks a bit mank

paint tiny bit faded, polishes up MINT!

one of the rear arches is starting to go (v. v. common)

comes with cossie grill+bonnet that seen better days, also comes with mint standard items aswell

3dr rims, no caps, good tyres, rims could do with refurb

zorst, filter, LSD, Rear Discs

interior dirty (would shampoo out)

could do with a cam change (one of the lobes is starting to wear)

would sail thru an MOT (its got 6months left on it)

tax runs out at end of month...

ive got some ideas in my head re: price... i wouldnt want much for it.. but what do y'all recon (SERIOUSLY)

car has had approximately 2.5-3k spent on it over the past 6 months, but then some of the bits fitted have seen beter days (ie wheels grille bonnet) plus the "ding" i had kinda distracts from the "mint, never been welded" chasis it used to have

jim, why oh why do you pour money into such things mate, you publicise the fact you earn next to nowt, theres threads about credit cards etc

now a cheap std rwd saph would be a way better investment no? not a dig or a diss lad but 2-3k in 6th months on THAT car is scandalous imo, i just cant see your logic..........and before you say insurance think about that 2-3k youve just spent

so says me with a d plate sierra that owes me 14k lol BUT the thing is the cossie to me is a hobby and not my everyday car, man invented 45mpg vectra tdis for getting to work and back

major down points on the car at the moment are 1) the ding at the front (i could cover it up v. easily but im not dishonest) 2) cam worn (again i could cover this up, but i dont want to)

cossie really is a no no, whilst the initial outlay i can afford, if it breaks, im fucked, and i cant justify spending that kinda money... we'll save that one till im 25 i think...

its up for 500 in cars for sale... i dont think thts being unreasonable, considering all the ones i looked at when buying mine were going for 800+ and were in SHITE condition... infact cheapest one on the trader at the moment is 700quid and that sounds a dog.

also bits like the rear beam conversion n genuine bonnet n brakes n suspension n stuff should bring mine back up a bit.

anyway, i just want rid... cant be arsed to keep hold of it too long

seriously - i reckon on about 300 quid in the general market cos those 'mods' that you've done mean nothing to most people and don't enhance it's value in any way.

you might get 400 for it in the specialised market place as they are becoming rare. but the 2.8 engine is just plain shit, even compared to the later 2.9i.
