Default Help needed with wiring (home not car)

I have just bought a bathroom ceiling radio that needs to be wired into the mains-the unit is from spain by the looks of it and has F and N for it's input, how do I wire it up to our UK wiring
your help would be most appreciated as electricity is not my friend

ok at a guess i'd say n is the netural. but that is a 100% guess.
does it have a plug on it? as you could cut that off and put a standard 3 pin english plug on it.
but i doubt very much that your gonna find a socket on ur bathroom ceiling.

you could run the lead through the ceiling and plug it in the loft or something. you your not ment to have 230 volt sockets in ur bathroom for a reason.

i'd say buy a battery radio or just use a normal one and stick an extention lead under the door. and put the radio in the corner away from the bath / shower.

before you do anything mate make sure what power supply is it can handle, we in britain use a 230V system in our houses as you probably know but i know that in spain they use a lower voltage system therefore check with whoever you bought it from that it can be wired straight into the house, otherwise it wont work in the first place or even worse burn out and cause a fire.

If it were up to me i wouldnt have one in my house as steam/condensation rising onto the ceiling will cause it to short out if its not installed properly.

As for the F & N i would say that the N is neutral and the F is your feed in (positive) but dont quote me on this as i would need to see it before i would install it

yeah but they are shit , it says F and N are power supply and then when you get to the bit about wiring it up it just says feed power to the installation
