uprating a S2 turbo, does a cossie one fit straight on??? what's the difference between the cossie one and standard rst turbo?

rear housing is a different design, wont bolt straight on

a cosy turbo will bolt onto your manifold as long as its a escort manifold for a t3

they are virtually the same turbo bar the ex housing where you would need to modify a cosy down pipe to your exhaust

these are less restrictive that a erst hosuing an a lot of people use them

or if you want to use your erst housing the cosy t3 will bolt straight in

just take the ex housing off the cosy turbo and put it into the erst housing

i done this on my turbo

this sounds good! my exhaust is broke at the top where it bolts to the waste gate so it doesn't matter that I need to modify it!

so do I need turbo and wastegate?? where can I get a cossie downpipe??

wastegate on a cossie turbo is built int he housing


what you need is a saab 900 turbo,,,,,, 86 to 89 verson adn use that housing with the erst elbow and it bols straight on

what you need is a complete cosy turbo

and a cosy downpipe not the one in the link

ill get a pick of one tomorrow for you

im about to chuck a std cosy exhaust away but its a smaller diameter to a stainlees item

what diameters that then? a standard cossie diameter might be the same size as the exhaust on my car now! mines 63mm

if its the same size I will buy it off you if you are willing to sell?

its milod steel

and im sure its a smaller diameter than a rst stainless

ill measure it later and let you know

you can have it for sod all if you can use it but u will have to collect

my exhaust is mild steel so ideal if its the same size, coventry aint too far lol
