daft question just had 2 recooned by amk and they have given back new units ....1 is longer than tother does the longer 1 go in the drivers side front???

fronts or rears?

fronts shold be eaqual lengths, the rears are sometimes longer/shroter

fronts they look different to me only by about an inch tho, but it cud be the gaitors holding it out

Most rally men leave the clip off as it lets the shaft move more , Allows more travel and stops the shaft breaking

the xr4x4 ones are and inch longer than cosys

they both should be the same size in length

better off with the longer ones anyhow

we've had this problem posted about twice in the last fw weeks haven't we? still don't know what they did about getting them sorted

i couldnt use the xr shafts with my koni -25mm suspension so had to use standard shafts, now with coilovers i can run a bit lower so the xr shafts fit fine with no probs.

If you have one long shaft and one short one, the long one should go on the o/s as thats the one that causes most problems ,
