ive been into my vw's for years had mk1's mk2's mk3's corrado g60's even on rebuilding a mk1 campaign in the garage now with a 2.0 16v in it
And my number plate is BIG G60............................BI6 GGO
But im going to sell it as i can not put it on the mk1

Yeah, went to Inters, but in the Gti, as I should hopefully be getting the Rallye back this week, then it's got a load of goodies to go on, ready for Edition 38, and I'm also going to the Rallye meet also in September

havnt been to many vw shows this year with rebuilding the mk1 ....been going to international for years now but did not get this year ....used to love the night out in reading when it was down there.....Reson i asked is that your number plate sounds familier......prob seen the car at a show....
Went to them in the g60 last year but bottom pully started to wobble (bent crank) so i sold it and ended up getting the cossie and buying another mk1 for the shows...

Inters was actually my 1st VW show, and from past recent storries I heard it was make or break for it, but it was good at Brunters
Edition should be good, park up, quick clean, then get the beers oot
I haven't been to any of the shows with the Rallye, I bought it last year from my mate C1ark on here fcuked and basically put a whole new engine in it, and now doing a full resto job on it. I've seen a couple of pics of it on DemonVW parked up at shows so it's been there with the previous owner of it when it lived down the road.

looks a nice car but keep an eye on the bottom pulley it is a common fault on them the end of the crank bends.........mine was running a jabba sport stage 4 charger, chip and pulley, filter, exhoust and had to sell it due to the crank

the Rallye's have differant btm ends to the other G60's, never heard of the cranks bending on these
