Ive started to feel the smell of petrol from my car but dont really know where to look to find the problem.

Coming up to a stop light with my windows down I get the scent of petrol in the car but I cant see any visible leaks even if the car has been parked for a couple of days. It smell petrol from it thoug.

Any ideas what is most likely to cause this, I mean there are not that many places it could leak from , or?

i doubt its leaking, is not the car is overfuelling?

hot weather and tank breather - remember, the hotter it is, the more vapours petrol gives off, these are exited via the tank breather - to stop the tank expanding and being damaged
