Right i was at work today (i work with stepdad) and we went to the shop at bate time. There was me, him and two other lads.Me and someone else in the back. and we were on the way back, aprox 100 yds from the site where we work and a traffic cop was driving past seen us, then turned round.
the van has got that shitty torsion bar suspension and sits low as it is, but with us two in the back, it must of been on its arse.and the copper said that it looked quite over loaded and what was in the back?my sdad replied nowt but there's 2 lads in the back.
the copper opened the door and said we would have to walk.He then proceeded to go through everything on the van.Tyres, battery etc he also said that he wanted to dip it.So my sdad removed the cap and the copper got his dipper thing and tried to get some diesel out.he was trying for ages but couldnt get none out.He then went in the car probs to call for the ministry but then came out and just said that he could go.(looking very pissed off).
So what im asking is
o you reckon he will come back? ( i think so)
might they come to the house or even the job and try and dip the cars/vans there?
i'v heard people saying that they swab your exhaust do you have to be there for them to do this or could they do it when your not there?
what is the fine for using red derv?
any info appreciated but i want proper knowledge from past experience, not just pub crack or myths please cheers

red diesel is exactly the same as normal derv it just has dye in to seperate it from normal highly taxed derv.some people say it is better than normal pump diesel as tesco's and the like have ENVIROMENTLY friendly diesel with addidives and shit in.
people say red makes the moters run crap its only because it has been transfered from dirty drums
.if you get it sraight from a clean filterd bowser it is perfect. ![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
if you think about it,the firms wouldnt put in something which will damage the machines, which cost thousands of pound to buy would they?.
