What's it like - is it ok for fast texting/fast menu system - does it crash?

 

I have heard they are pretty slow when going through the menus ect

 

someone said they have had battery probs ...

 

i hate slow menus. u need to put something in in a hurry, and ur waiting for phone to work out what day it is...

 

I know what you mean mate, my 6230 has started going slow

Think i will get the 6280 next

 

I've heard they are having problems with software and the screens going tits up on them. I got a 6280 instead, well recommended Tiff

 

battery on mine is pants

 

think the battery is due to it searching for wifi all the time

 

how the fook do i turn that bit off then lol

the 6230 is rapid - thats what im using at the mo. Have got a much fancier phone but too slow

my n80 cool dont think its slow but batt life is shit




mines never crashed or gone slow maybee your is overloaded with porn lol

 

I find it faster to use than my old 6680. Mine sometimes shuts down and re starts and it sometimes closes the web browser if I'm on normal internet. BAttery life is getting better now I have stopped it from connecting to the net all the time.

 

how do i improve the batt on mine daz ?

getting fed up with charging it every 3 days lol

 

i use the N70 and i think it uses mostly the same software, never really had a prob with it
but it can be a tad slow when accessing things like text message page

best thing i found is turn off bluetooth, dont search for wifi and if you do access net/wlan set it to ask when you connect. also if you have "non preinstalled themes" on they can also drain it (so i heard)

also turning the Packet data to "when needed" not, "when available" helps too.....

Loads of people I know have sent them back and gone for the Sony k800i

 

First got mine about a month ago..thought it was great..

But its wank. Im sick of phoning people by accident as when i bend at work it slides open in my pocket thus removing the keypad lock

Other than that it is a good phone but its annoying me ringing people

 

If you go onto www.mobile9.com you might be able to download a program to get a secondary keylock. I got one for the N70 as it didn't come with a keylock as standard

 

hate this phone, its freezing for longer and longer everytime i send a txt

 

if you go into the security settings theres sommat there that locks the phone after a certain time and then will only unlock when you enter a code

got mine set to 1 min before it locks, also stops cooooonts noseying thru your phone lol

Yeah the security lock..... Its good for the reasons you've put.... But 1 minute is the minimum it will take for the phone to lock, which is pretty useless if its in your pocket rattling about.
