Mate has just bought a vw polo 1.4 on a 99, 60 k mileage and fvwsh.

Starts fine in the morning, she drives it to work parks up and goes to work,
Comes out in evening to go home and when she first starts the car it has no lights, indicators and makes a rattling noise from engine, but if she turns it off and then leaves it for a couple of mins and then starts again it is fine...

Any ideas????
