Default wiring up a new gauge ??

just got a new spa analogue gauge,

which wires on the car can i wire into ?

red wire needs permanent +12v connection

brown wire needs +12 v switched feed

black wire is for lighting

the gauges ers in the din slot under the stereo, what wires can i hack into ?

If it's under the stereo mate - then i'd take most of the connections from the stereo wiring

what the ford wiring or just tap into the pioneer loom before it goes into the actual head unit ?

i presume the pioneer stereo harness is 12v ?

i think it has little tags on each wire saying what it is (i hope)

my new SPA gauges were wrongly labelled compared to the instructions. just check them. where have you put the sensors for them??

i was hoping you might reply sean,

at the moment ive only got the oil temp gauge, the sensor is going to go in a adapter i bought off fleebay that goes between the engine and oil filter

just im not the best at car electrics lol

buy a spare sump plug and get it tapped to 1/8 npt thread shove it in there mate. run the cable down the original loom. perfect.

what wires did you use for your gauges re the switched live and perm live ?
