isnt that the one that clarkson just drove on top gear?
the car that was truley shocking at handling but quick in a straight line.
round the test track it was virtually at the bottom

Its got uprated suspension and 19's on it so i wouldn't have thought it would be THAT bad mind you Clarkson hates Vectras, my present one (3.0 diesel) as been spot on for 30k miles in 14 months !

Well, it was either that or a 5 series BMW and im not much of a Beemer fan apart from the M versions tbh, VXR is 2.8 turbo with 6 speed box and i've already enquired about a power upgrade from Regal

I drive various Vectras for work (I'm on number 8 or 9 now) and have to say that it's a nice enough place to spend the day but the Mondeo is a far better driver's car.
Haven't tried the VXR (they aren't on our list) but the SRi and the Elite are both average-handling cars, and the Signum is on the same platform and feels just the same apart from the pointless back seating and the ridiculously small boot.

its Ł21k new, less with haggling.. yes you may prefer other cars, but at that price, would you get a Holden? (genuine question, as i dont know).
the guys chose a nice and probably very reliable car, but its not a ford, so lets slag it off, and its apparent inability to take corners fast, when lets he honest, we dont have all that many hammerheads, gambon's and follow through's on the public roads of britain LOL (cue my shooting down!)

your rite i havnt, but a freind of my step dad has just bought one, i went out in it with him driving, and if you try to carry speed through corners, or accelarate through a bend it is every bit as bad as it looked on top gear, they do understeer like crazy.

............
I've driven one and been driven in one
They are as bad handling as it looked on Top Gear i'm afraid....utter wank for a supposed performance car.
Straight line speed is awesome tho, great on the motorway - provided you dont lift off and attempt to steer in the same calendar month
