Default RS Focus vs Ferrari

On the way into work I normally catch up with my mate in his White RS Turbo, on this occasion he was being bullied by a silver Ferrari, less than a meter trom his bumper. My mate saw me come up from behind them & pulled over. THe ferrari thinking he'd won pulled away not knowing that now there was a RS Focus doing the same to him now! The clock now passing 130mph the Ferrari loses his nerve & gives up!..lol.Keeping up the RS tradition & saving our honor. As I keep saying to mates, " Don't worry about the blue flash by your window, it's just me passing you!" See you at some of the shows this year: Stroker.

Couldn't tell you mate. But it was a recent convertable. It was the look of surprise that got him when he looked in his rear view to see that I was still there & gaining ground rapidly!..lol. All that money he spent & he gets beaten by a Focus, bet he held his head in shame at work!..lol.

Probably realised that 130mph on a public highway was a licence loser.

Stroker,

IF the Ferarri driver with his 355/360 Spyder (Ł 48 K - 74 K value), pulled in to a petrol station further up that road (and you were getting some petrol there too), he comes up to you and says "I'm impressed with the performance of your Focus, how about a straight swap - my Ferarri for you car" .....................Am I right in thinking YOU would simply say "no thanks - mine is the better car - I just proved it" ????

You might also say to him "Anyway, I could'nt possibly swap as I need it to keep up the RS tradition & saving our honor"

Personally anytime a car like that comes up to go past me, I can't get out the way quick enough so I can watch it, and listen to it go past.

My point was that he would rather save the petrol for something he thought would challenge him.

Does it take an acquired skill Rich to pull out your old boy & steer the car all at the same time?

ffs where's the fun gone these days, surely part of the enjoyment of owning the type of cars we do is to claim the occasional scalp of some exotica or other??

I don't think most people are dilusional with regards their cars capability or its desirability but does that mean we can't poke fun or give something a run for its money on occasions?

now I can't afford a Ferrari or even its running costs, but I have absolutely mullered a Ferrari 355 at Bruntingthorpe on an Easytrack trackday in my Scooby STi8.

So regardless of the reasons its all possible

With years of practicing the reach-a-round on you whilst doing this - I would hope that holding a steering wheel straight whilst doing so, shouldn't prove much of a challenge .

And to fucking right he shouldn't, unless of course there was nothing in front of him. I agree, open road with nothing in front then move over, but he shouldn't just move over because there's a ferrari behind him.

I fucking wouldn't if I couldn't, and it wouldn't give me a hard on to hear a ferrari go past me neither.

The general still goes m8 Proof that not everything out of Ford is a shed. Buy a nice well looked after car, treat it right, and it will last for decades

You lot are shot to fuck..

He simply said he pushed a ferrari along, whats the big deal? There's plenty of cars on here that could do the same. All this 'real man' bolocks. On a public highway I would have shy'ed off at 130 too.

Blokes just simply saying what happened.
