Default Escort Cossie Nightmare!

Hi all. My escort cossie has broken down in the road outside my house (will turn over but wont start). The problem I've got is that I need to get it into my garage to fix it (My road is full of snobby gits who dont like seeing cars being worked on!) My drive is on an upward incline so what would be the best way to move it? Would putting it in gear and turning over on the starter be sufficient to move it? Am also worried what effect it would have on my PAS! Please help!

Steering will be fine, but it might be a bit heavy.

How steep is the drive? If it's not too steep you'll be fine, just don't keep it spinning for long without a rest, you could burn out the starter. At the risk of stating the obvious, use 1st gear.

have you checked the fuel inertia switch before you resort to pulling the car in bits

Large turbo Esc Cos - it's in the passenger footwell. Not sure on small turbo...

Had exactly the same problem with my EsCos 2 weeks ago. Had to wait nearly three hours for RAC, and then a low loader.

Turned out to be fuse box problems, very common on them apparently.

My car was turning over fine, but my fuel pump wasn't priming.
