It's really annoying me now not being able to wash my car properly!! So much harder without a hose just to get the suds. Going back & fowards with buckets is just crap!! I swear i'm using more water with buckets instead of the hose!!!!! AHHHHH!! ! ! !

u dont need a hose pipe.

Wash the car with a decent shampoo, then rinse off with a watering can, then dry with a Mf.

 

as dan said above, i just use it anyway, theres no hosepipe police as far as i know

 

People that live oposite me are more than likely to grass!! + we have helicopters fly over quite a bit which i reckon is sometimes checking whose got their pipes out!! Suppose i could use it either in the morning or later in the evening when its quiet!

I never take any notice of this hose pipe ban, and have just filled my son's 8ft pool up, after fighting for him for 3yrs if he wants a swimming pool i'll give him a swimming pool....fine me

You can fill a watering can with a hose pipe.

So stick the hosepipe in a watering can and hold it over your car

 

Just be sensible and get a water butt to collect your rain water and then run a pressure washer from it. You will be amazed at how little water a pressure washer actually uses and a water butt is on ly Ł30 from homebase!!!!

Fact is this country is low on water in areas so may as well help and conserve some????

if you use buckets you can easily use 5 of em, which at 20L a time is quite a lot.

hose pipe for 1 min and its done at arate of 15L/min

also you can still use pressure washers AND fill up swimming pools

as our friends have just done for the kids, only 4500L and it only took 8 hours to do


yet the water companies waste 100 MILLION litres PER DAY!

 

Bet the cunts hav'nt reduced your water bill even though they have restricted the amount of water you can use
