Default Just took car out for a spin to check cooling ... *edit*

As some of you prolly know, Ive had some issues recently with rad/intercooler/fan setups.

Ended up piercing my old rad, and had to buy a brand spanker yesterday (std ford jobbie)

Previously, the gauge would stay in the middle and go way higher if sat in traffic, and that was with standard fan and a "double size" pace intercooler. Now, with the GRS and twin kenlowes on the rad, the HIGHEST it goes is to the upper part of the "M" of NORM

Just goes to show how clogged up most RST rads must be, and obviously battered fins dont help.

Well chuffed!

Cossie drilled/grooved brakes later

Since changing my rad for a new one, my coolant now stays blue, rather that quickly turning brown!

So true, new rad is makes such a difference. The M is roughtly mid 80's which is wear the stat keeps it at. In this weather, in traffic i sit dead on half way, which i'm really pleased about
