Default SERIES 1 Any good for track days?

just watching soom comb vids and didn't see any series1 rs's there.
Is there a reason for this, maybe no good as track car or just not that many about?

Just not many about mate, make a very good track car!

There was 2 at combe, possibly 3 that went very well! Until one went bang!

I haven't built a track car, mine is just your normal road going car with AVO damps and some stiff springs. Hope that will do....

My series One was at combe weekend, excellent track car just dont give it too much boost, it wheelspins a lot due to its short gearing but its great round corners and a lot of fun

No problem mate, the closest mine will get to the track is being up on ramps on the circuit grounds!

Or possibly a very sedate parade lap one day!

Was quite late in the day that the guy's turbo went! Was hoping it wasn't more as alot of smoke was coming out of it!

yep that was my turbo that went
the nut snapped on the turbine side of the turbo at 2 bar boost,sounded good on the video

looking at another turbo now,bigger and better

my s1 was going well round the corners and no wheelspin eiher
