Mi16 Engine, and around 160bhp i would suggest!

Toyo R888 semi-slick tyres too

The green 205 (his) was slightly slower than the black 205 (mine )

Hope this helps

And despite being a 205 GTi, much more reliable than his 4x4 Saph.

My bro has the spec right, but I think the rest of the story is wrong!

When he had no passenger he was a smidge faster than me!

When we were both two up there was not a lot in it anywhere on track!

The marshall at the exit said "Normally I'd tell you two to put some space between you, but you're providing the entertainment out there! Did you actually touch bumpers?"

They are ACE track cars.

For the record at Combe pretty much every lap I did was a 1:27 or a 1:28.

My Cossie a few years ago with shite old suspension, cheap tyres and 320 bhp used to do the lap in a similar time

My Cossie at 370bhp with ace tyres and coilvoers etc will only do it in 1:22, which shows how good the slow ass Pug handles!

Will try and post up a vid of the kills I managed in the Pug as soon as I work out how!

Si

Spec wise - maybe 160 bhp (think it needs a tune tho....) from Mi16 lump
Exhaust with a hole in it, crushed up cone air filter with years of crap in it, some very questionable cams that seem to have killed the power!

Toyo R888s on SMR 1.9 Gti wheels

Koni shocks and springs front - standard ride height

Koni shocks and slammed on the back for that ridiculous nose up stance

Brakes - Drums (based on a 1.6gti you see) on the back, 307 HDi/206Gti180 front brakes

Oil - not a lot, good job I have gallons of Mobil 1, I'm my biggest customer!

Full crappy Sorrento edition leather interior with crap stereo system.

All soon to be binned in favour of the stripped look, with cage, buckets and throttle bodies

Also reprofiled the front end on another mini track day I did on Sunday :
