Cordless Impact Wrenches
Looking at buying one of these in the near future - dont want to spend mega bucks on one as it isnt going to get used that often - its just that its handy to have when changing wheels, shocks & springs, subframes etc & unfortunately I dont have the space for a compressor to get proper windy tool kits!!
Has anyone used a budget type one like this .....

I know people say you get what you pay for etc etc but I reckon this one would do me for what I need!!!

I paid about £150 for my sealey one, and due to the fact that i know the chap who owns the shop and he knows how much it will be used, he has given me a lifetime warranty on it.
I think that this Ebay one will be a waste of time and won't last long at all.
But with a battery impact gun you are always best cracking the nut/bolt with a breaker bar first and then just using it to 'run' the nut.
The other problem you will have is if/when you take it to a trackday. Everyone wants to use it, and when they do they will hold it on a wheelbolt that won't budge until either the battery is flat or the thing has shaken itself to bits , and then you're fucked aswell, 'cos its fucked, but if you say ' no you can't use it' , you are deemed the tight twat, even tho' you're obviously not tight 'cos you've actually gone out and spent some money on something usefull.
In my experience you are either better off without, or buy a quality one and keep it under wraps

Its the nuts and still works perfectly!
Its the proper variable speed impact wrench type too. Not your argos spin up and engage rubbish!

Cheers for the replies guys!!!
Jonno....let me know bout what price you get - failing that I might get one EssexBoyRacer recommended - least then I know someones successfully used one & it hasnt fallen to pieces!!!
I really cant justify £150+ on something that probably wont be used that often!!!
