i don't think 2wd is a nicer drive at all, but definitely can handle more power and are quicker.
4x4 transmission is the big downside on them, anything over stage 3 and it's about to break
if 300bhp is enough for you then go 4x4,or if you want nearly 400bhp have my 2wd

we use ours daily but it doesnt get booted everywhere, however they are pretty expensive to run daily.... doesnt seem to break very often though

hi mate,
i have a 450bhp saff and thats a handfull in the wet as well. its nice to drive and grips well but the gearboxes are definately made of chocolate. cant vouch for driving a 2wd but i went out in warleydaddys old 3dr and that was very quick.
if you want a 2wd then buy bud weis saff. mint car

I have used 3 different ones in the past as daily drivers-1 rwd and 2 4x4 ,buy wisely and it wont cost you an arm and a leg to run-far from it, buy a dog and you will regret it as it will take all your money.
My last 4x4 had 80,000 miles and a rebuilt engine however the turbo still expired and that wasn't cheap to replace. The one before had 40,000 miles and never missed a beat- i was heartbroken to sell it to be honest
-buy the best you can and if you have ANY doubts walk away as there will be others

The amount of people that ask this question !!!
Its totally down to individual preferene. Do as i did and test drive both
I went for the 4x4 but one point i will make is that they are slow standard compared to the RWD. However if stage 3 theres nothing in it.
If you find a good 4x4 or RWD that has already been proffesionaly modded to stg3 then you could save £'sssssss. As i found out

i just bought a 4x4 cos it had all the toys
the only downside to the 4x4 is the boxes are weaker, and they feel slower than an equivalent 2wd.
definately try and buy one thats already stage 3, saved me a fortune.
but most of all, buy wisely, spend as much as you can, and walk away if you are not happy for any reason theres plenty of them out there
whats your budget?
