Default which cam for upgrade??

ive pretty much decided to upgrade the power on my saff now but want a bit of advice 1st.
im currently running 344bhp on the usual greens,3 bar,T34.48,big cooler etc and want to go light blues with a map to match and a different inlet cam. Ive been told a bd14 is a good choice for this set up and just wondered what your thoughts were on this.

I'd go greys 403's or bigger with a live map and standard cams good for 400 horses!

u could say that about light blues also! the close loop route will make you a killing on fuel saving!

ps I know of a 400bhp on greys and t34 been like that for near on 12 mths

Why does everyone get excited about "closed loop" when it's been on cossies since the saph 4x4?

I was in the same boat as you. Was advised when i rang for my live map to have 1000 cc's fitted, along with a .55 or .63 housing so that is what i opted for.

I fail to see how 400 bhp is achieved with stnadard cams UNLESS you have had head work. If you have a standard head then the BD14 is a very good choice but you need to have velve pockets.cut outs in the pistons

1: Rich you'll be surprised HOW easy it is on standard head and cams

2: NO you dont have to have cut outs with bd14
