Default How long does petrol last?
Being trying to start the old 2.9 4X4 and had no luck. It has had the same fuel in the tank for over 2 years, it started about 4 month ago but it won't now, it has a spark and there is a smell of fuel.

What should I check next, I was wondering if the fuel would still be ok.

Fuel starts to seperate after about 2 months so best to get some new petrol in the car

I left petrol sitting in the tank for over a year, car started ok but ran like shit until I filled it up with fresh stuff.
