My mate broke his rear diff and cant get hold of the moon and sun gears so im trying to help him out.

When showing these pics to Gareth he said it doesnt look like a cossie rear diff since its missing the LSD.

Now, ive never bothered to look at one before so I couldnt tell the difference. (I just took the lid off to drain mine from oil and put it back on again )

So before I try and buy any gears for it, what is it?

 

looks like a cossy diff 4x4 me think

its a 7" std viscous diff unit.
