Max Power show @ NEC
Evening chaps and chapasses 
As some of u know, I work @ the NEC as a team leader for technical support.
Was SUPER DEAD today on the calls side, so decided to divert support number to my mobile and go for a wander round the show.
Can I just say .. IT WASNT AS BAD AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE ...
IT WAS A FOOKIN DAMN SITE WORSE!!!
What a pathetic excuse for a show, bost up bints (apart from a couple ), never seen so many 1.1's with RIDICULOUS body kits on, best car there was a totally unmolested red 90 spec s2 
Anyone who is thinking of going, spend the £27/£32 on some beer and a kebab instead.

haha quility mate, what the hell is wrong with these people to spend money on a snow plow for a corsa 
why not use the extra money they have to develope it to go faster round a corner rather than sitting on the bloody motor way at 45mph

i worked there last year for motorworld.......was the best weekend iv had for a long time. took a lot of money and had a crackin time (bloody hard work tho)

if it was meant to be an insult it didnt work. i dont deny it. last max power motoroworld made 150k(ish)....not bad for 4 days work
not bad, eh.
good fun tho. beer was on the area managers tab and we had a fuckn wicked time in birmanghams clubs with the staff parties
iv always said id do it again in a second. its much better fun workin there cos the models/organisers/.staff treat u like a person rather than a punter

was told it was the worst one yet. i didnt go even tho i couldve for free, better stuff to do.
same as anything tho, its what you make of it, one time we went it was fucking superb, i had 9 pints when i was there and was fucked and jus didnt give a fuck, happy days

i enjoyed it, any some of the birds were absolutely GORGEOUS (although alot wernt!!!)
if you prefer cleaning the underside of your 3-door with a cotton wool bud, dont go. if you like jap cars, and can stand a nicely modded corsa/saxo etc, then go.
stavros, im suprised you didnt go, seeing as you work for a rival mag. i thought it would of been well up your street, it being all about drifting/hummers on 24s/ice etc?
the vibe bass tube was cool, i made me feel sick!

I'd have loved to have gone, but i had a prior appointment to eat piranha fish with chopsticks while sat naked...
To be honest, the last show like that i went to was modified nationals last year when i was paid to bodyguard a mate (long story) and it was just a chav fest.
Not for me in any way shape or form.

WEll, I haven't been for a few years, but I remember it was full to the brim with scantily dressed slags and Jap crap, so I thought of you.... PLus you work for Redline, so you can't have that much of an aversion to the other cars that would be on display there either.... And as you rightly said, last time you was there you had a blinding time.....

I like performance cars, regardless of where they from, but not static stuff, and Max has always had 20 show cars to every performance one, its not a performance show.
And I said ONE time I had a good crack, not last time, but I was blindo drunk so you can have a great time at a funeral if your shitfaced.
