Default turbo van help please

about to do a mk3 escort van turbo conversion, just needed to know what petrol tank will fit or do i need to get mine modded and also rear box to use(exhaust) as it goes over axle whereas normal turbo drops down under wishbone, any info would be much appreciated, thanks, sorry also what rear shocks to use

the van is longer wheel bass so u need to make the back end of the zorst longer if the van is injection u dont need to change the tank if it is non injection u do

so are you saying a normal rs turbo rear box will fit just extend it? non injection too so will a 3i or turbo tank fit or do i get mine modded, cheers

get a swirl pot fitted into your van tank unless you wanna mess about trying to find a tank that fits

just get an rs turbo one or xr3i one to fit 20 min job to fit up just make sure to wd40 the bolts up. just take ur zorst to poweflow or longlife to get it fitted up right

done this conversion 15 years ago get an xr or rs fuel tank it bolts straight in what you have to do is get existing fuel filler hole welded up and cut a hole in front of tank instead and van filler pipe fits staight in then your next problem is fuel pump because it fits normally between the trailing arms but van has beam axel so you will have to move it round the side of fuel tank and suspend it on bracket so its gravity fed from tank because pumps dont like having to suck fuel up.exhaust fits the same until it gets beside fuel tank you will have to buy an hump shaped section to gety it over beam axel try not to lower to much as clearance over axel gets very tight hope this helps
