sorry, I have been in a few VR6 mk 2's, and theyhave aall been understeery and slow, the vr6 engine is wank imho, cracking bottom end then a 12 valve head, and crap power for a 2.8 
A much better conversion is the 1.8 turbo 20v engine, from a skoda octavia or new golf etc, much better fit, much better power and much better handling

BUT they do get cool cars in from Japan, so if your lucky and they not got a shed, its happy days.
